Update (03/06/2024): I no longer run a matrix homeserver, so the below instructions won't work for you. If I choose to run it again, I'll post an update here.
How to connect to my homeserver (outdated)
Open a matrix client of choice (I recommend Element)
Click on the "create account" button in your client
Select "advanced" under the server selection box
Where it says to enter a homeserver url, type in https://matrix.danno.nz
Click on the next button
Enter your account details to sign up
Finally, click register and you should be on your way
